• From Hamburg or Puttgarden via motorway A1, A20 (exit Lübeck/B207)
• From Berlin via motorway A24 (exit Hornbek)
• From Rostock via motorway A20 (exit Groß Sarau/B207)
• From Ratzeburg via highway B207
• From Kiel, Bad Segeberg via highway B206 resp.A20
• In Lübeck follow directions to B207 Ratzeburg, "Universitätskliniken" or Airport Blankensee. Access to visitors' car park (paid parking) from "Mönkhofer Weg".

By Plane

• From airport Lübeck Blankensee: either by train (Station: Blankensee) or take a taxi or bus line 6 to busstop “Universität”
• From Hamburg airport (Fuhlsbüttel) to Hamburg main station (Hauptbahnhof), take a train to Lübeck (Hauptbahnhof), or alternatively by Airportbus Traveliner from Hamburg to Lübeck
